ComicBase Tip:
New File Locations for ComicBase 14
(For ComicBase 12 and ComicBase Atlas, see this note instead)
The biggest change to file locations in ComicBase 14 was moving the default database location to the new “ComicBase Databases” folder under your My Documents folder. We anticipate this being the permanent default home for all future versions of ComicBase, since we can now make any necessary database structure changes “in place” (without needing to create a separate database file).
This should allow for very smooth upgrades, since your database (unless you save it elsewhere) will always be in the ComicBase Databases folder instead of the old style where each version of ComicBase kept its own copy of the database in a separate folder named after the particular version of ComicBase (e.g., the My Documents\ComicBase 12 folder).
