When you’re editing information using the Grid View (View > Grid), you can work with data much as you would with a spreadsheet program like Excel.

Editing Individual Fields of an Item

  1. Select the desired cell using the mouse or keyboard.
  2. Type the new value. Changes are automatically saved when you exit the cell.

Working With Entire Items

You can also operate on the item as a whole–for instance, to duplicate an item, remove an item, or download an item’s cover picture (Archive Edition only):

  1. Use the mouse to highlight one or more items by clicking and dragging in the row selection column (the far left column in the grid). You can use the Shift and/or Control keys to allow you to select either continuous or discontinuous ranges of items, respectively. The Edit > Select All (Ctrl-A) command will select all visible items.
  2. Choose a command from the Edit or Items menus, or right-click to see a list of commands you can perform on the selected items:
Right-click on a selected row to get a menu of commands which apply to that item
