Bypassing the Automatic Back-up When Exiting
By default, ComicBase makes a backup of the database each time you exit the program. This is a Really Good Thing, by and large, as you should always have a copy of your most recent work. For control settings related to the automatic backup, see ComicBase’s Setup > Preferences dialog.
That said, there are occasionally times when you want to quickly hop into ComicBase to check something, and exit without waiting for it to backup the database. You can temporarily override the “Automatically back up databases when exiting” preference in ComicBase by holding down the Alt key on your keyboard when you exit ComicBase. This will cause ComicBase to exit without saving the backup copy.
