Now Available: ComicBase v25.7.0 (Build 4629)

Customers with current subscriptions can download it directly from the Registrations page.

To Update: Just download and run the ComicBase Setup program again. The new setup will automatically update you to the current version--this will not affect your data.

Changes from v25.5.0

  • ComicBase now features information on over 1.3 million comics, and over 1.1 million cover images in the Archive Edition.
  • NEW: ComicBase now supports tracking newsstand variations separately from other editions. There are also new controls at the bottom of the status bar to show or hide newsstand editions, and easily change your preferred view settings so you can see just what's of interest to you.
  • Searching for titles, publishers, and more is now faster and more responsive from both the main window or the Titles window.
  • NEW: ComicBase can automatically try to resolve unknown issues after an update, locating items whose titles, names, or media types has changed.
  • You can now drag images from your computer, or from web pages, directly to particular issue numbers on the main grid and the files will be automatically saved under the proper title names.
  • You can now import data from a text file by dragging the text file onto the main grid.
  • NEW: ComicBase now has automatic file clean-up to help you import data from CLZ. See our help section for full details of how to export from that system.
  • NEW: ComicBase now automatically cleans up extraneous NM issues when importing data, moving an item to a new title, or changing a series' media type.
  • When using ComicBase on multi-monitor systems, large pictures previews now display on whichever monitor the main ComicBase window is on.
  • Upgrading to a different interim build no longer resets your windows.
