Changing the Highlight Color in ComicBase
While most visual elements in ComicBase are controlled by the particular Theme you're using, the background color which is used to highlight the selected issue or issues you're working with in the grid is actually a Windows setting.
If you're not happy with the current highlight color, you can change it by altering Windows' own theme setting (under the Appearances setting in the Display control panel), or by changing the "Selected Items" color directly:
In Windows XP:
Right-click on your desktop and choose "Properties"
Click the Appearance tab
Click Advanced button
In the "Item" dropdown menu at bottom left, choose "Selected Items". Then choose a color of your choice for the highlight color.
Click OK
In Windows Vista:
Click Start > Control Panels > Personalization
Click Window Color and Appearance, then click the words "Open Classic Appearance for other options"
Click Advanced button
In the "Item" dropdown menu at bottom left, choose "Selected Items". Then choose a color of your choice for the highlight color.
Click OK
In Windows 7:
Click the Windows icon, then type "Change Windows Colors and Metrics" (!) Click the item in the menu that appears in the menu.
In the "Item" dropdown menu at bottom left, choose "Selected Items". Then choose a color of your choice for the highlight color.
Click OK
